Silverton Mortgage Introduces Rate Drop Protection Program

Silverton Mortgage now offers a Rate Drop Protection Program for home buyers trying to purchase between now and March 31, 2023.

ATLANTA, Jan. 4, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Silverton Mortgage, a leading direct residential mortgage lender, now offers a Rate Drop Protection Program for home buyers trying to purchase their dream home between now and March 31, 2023. Buyers that finance the purchase of their home with Silverton Mortgage can refinance within three years if interest rates drop, and Silverton Mortgage will waive the origination fee and contribute up to $500 towards appraisal fees.

“We know it’s still a tough market for buyers, with higher interest rates than we’ve seen in several years, and many areas are still struggling with low inventories,” said Dan Dadoun, President of Silverton Mortgage. “With this new program, we’re helping buyers get more control of their homeownership journey and have some peace of mind knowing they can take advantage of a future interest rate decrease and refinance with lower costs.”

If interest rates decrease and customers qualify to refinance with Silverton Mortgage, the company will waive the origination fee on the refinance loan – up to $1,295 – and contribute up to $500 toward the cost of the appraisal for the refinance loan. Applicants are responsible for appraisal costs over $500. Actual savings will vary by state and loan program.
